Question 1

What capabilities are managed through an employee security portal?

Accepted Answer

An employee security portal centralizes security awareness onboarding, annual policy acknowledgment signatures, background check verifications, and endpoint compliance verification.

Question 2

How does employee compliance tracking satisfy SOC 2 CC2.2 and ISO 27001 A.6.3?

Accepted Answer

Auditors require evidence that 100% of in-scope personnel have reviewed and acknowledged information security policies and completed required awareness training within established onboarding timeframes.

Question 3

How is endpoint security compliance verified on employee workstations?

Accepted Answer

Endpoint verification confirms that employee devices meet mandatory baseline standards—such as disk encryption (FileVault/BitLocker), automatic OS security updates, active EDR/antivirus agents, and screen lock timeouts.

Question 4

How are policy updates and re-attestations handled?

Accepted Answer

When policies are revised (e.g. updated Acceptable Use or Remote Work guidelines), the portal initiates automated re-attestation workflows, tracking version history and digital signature timestamps for audit logs.
